Itinerary :
Day 1: Almaty (Arrival): Arrival in Almaty & Meeting your guide at the International Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel. Later visit Kok – Tobe hill with the tallest TV tower in the world. Short ride from the top of the hill to the center of the city by the famous Almaty cableway. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Almaty. (D)
Day 2: Almaty (Excursion to Medeo & Shymbulak): Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Medeo & Shymbulak. Medeo ice rink situated on the height of 1 691.2 meters above the sea level is known around the world. It was built in 1972. The surface of the ice occupies 1 0 500 square meters, which allows conducting competitions of skating, hockey and figure skating. Ski resort «Shymbulak» is situated in the picturesque ravine of Zailiysky Alatau Mountain on the height of 2260 meters above the sea level and in 25 kilometers from the center of the city of Almaty. At the height of 3163 meters above the sea level the elevators start their ways down. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Almaty. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Almaty (Excursion to the Oi-Qaragai Lesnaya Skazka mountain resort): Breakfast at the hotel. Just 40 minute drive away from the center of the southern capital of Almaty, at an altitude of 1650 meters above sea level, there is a small Switzerland under the name “Forest Fairy Tale”. Mountain Resort is located on the territory of more than 5.5 hectares. The resort area offers a range of services for accommodation, meals and various activities. Here you will plunge into the extreme sports atmosphere and outdoor activities. Day 4: Almaty (Panoramic City Tour): Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy panoramic tour around Almaty including visit to Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame. Transfer to the Square of the Republic and Monument of Independence, feel the energy of the Apple city and get acquaint with its history! Shopping tour to Green Bazaar & Rahat chocolate market. Day 5: Almaty (Excursion to Alma Arasan gorge): Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Alma Arasan gorge. It is characterized by a mountain-meadow landscape and a dissected relief. Granites and granodiorites are widespread. Spruce forest, various herbs and shrubs (raspberry, honeysuckle, wild rose, hawthorn) grow in the vicinity of the gorge. The climate in the gorge is mountainous, with many cloudless days. The left tributary of the Bolshaya Almatinka, the Prokhodnaya River, flows through the gorge. The well-known Alma-Arasan thermal-radon sulfur springs come to the surface in the gorge. On the slopes of the Prokhodnaya River in 1931, 16 springs were recorded, on the basis of which the Alma-Arasan balneological resort was founded in the same year. Transfer to the hotel.
