Itinerary :

Day 1: Cape Town: Arrival at Cape Town International Airport. After passing through the arrivals terminal guide will meet you with a signage board depicting clients’ name. The guide will assist clients with their luggage and disinfect all bags before loading, thereafter temperature checks will be done and hands sanitized before clients are able to enter the vehicle for their transfer to their hotel. Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 2: Cape Town: After breakfast, you will be taken on a Scheduled Half day City Orientation Tour – to learn all about Cape Town’s rich history and vibrant cultures. Some of the highlight stops will be the beautiful Company Gardens and the Castle of Good Hope, a historical fort which is the oldest building in the country. You will also visit the colorful Bo Kaap area, previously known as the Malay Quarter, situated on the slopes of Signal Hill this is the spiritual home of Cape Town’s Muslim community and one of Cape Town’s most popular stops for Instagrammers. You then take a trip up Cape Town’s landmark and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Table Mountain. A 5-minute cable way ride takes you to the top of the mountain from where you will enjoy uninterrupted views over the city bowl and across the peninsula. (Note: This activity is weather permitting and an alternative will be arranged by the guide should the cable way be closed). Overnight in Cape Town. (B)
Day 3: Cape Town: After breakfast today you will head out for a Scheduled full day tour of the scenic Cape Peninsula travelling along the Atlantic Seaboard to Hout Bay, passing magnificent beaches and the wealthy coastal suburbs of Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandadno. From Hout Bay Harbour they have the option to proceed on a boat trip to Duiker Island (not included), to see the thousands of Cape Fur Seals living on this rocky outcrop. Hout Bay Harbour is a busy fishing harbour sure to keep them entertained and their cameras snapping. Browse for souvenirs at the Hout Bay Craft Market or take a walk on the beach and paddle their feet in the sea. The tour continues over Chapman’s Peak, known as one of the most spectacular scenic drives in the world, all the way along the Peninsula to the southern tip at Cape Point. An invigorating walk takes them to the two lighthouses at the top and bottom of the headland, from where they will enjoy extraordinary views of the cliffs and the ocean below. Alternatively, they could take a short funicular ride to the top (for own account). Take a photo down at the most south western point of the African continent at the Cape of Good Hope Beach. Lunch will be enjoyed at a seaside restaurant (for own account) before travelling along the False Bay coastline to the Naval village of Simon’s Town. They will visit the delightful African Penguins of Boulders Beach and then the drive takes them back via Cape Town’s coastal and southern suburbs for a final stop at the beautiful Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens (time permitting and for own account). Overnight in Cape Town. (B)
Day 4: Cape Town – Oudtshoorn: After a leisurely breakfast you will be met by Car Rental Representative and be handed the keys to their vehicle with a detailed breakdown of agreement as well as any assistance required with GPS. After check out, clients will travel to Oudtshoorn along the famous Route 62 – recently voted as the World’s Best Road trip. The ever-changing colors of the majestic mountains, scenic passes, rivers, vineyards and orchards, as well as the multitude of interesting attractions. This drive will take between 5 and 6 hours, and a comfort and lunch stop will be made along the way. On arrival in the town a visit will be made to the Cango Wildlife Ranch, a unique world-class facility which strives to provide wildlife conservation through education by means of various projects, initiatives and informative guided tours. Overnight in Oudtshoorn. (B)
Day 5: Oudtshoorn – Knysna: Enjoy a relaxed morning, with breakfast at your accommodation. The first stop on the itinerary today is a guided Heritage Tour at the famous Cango Caves, an easy walk through the largest and most spectacular chambers of these limestone caverns, to marvel at the stalactite and stalagmite formations. The next stop is Safari Ostrich Show Farm, where your clients will learn more about these giant flightless birds and the history of their farming in the area. You will then travel over the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to Knysna; a quaint coastal town located on the edge of a vast estuary which flows into the Indian Ocean through two giant sandstone heads. Overnight in Knysna. (B)
Day 6: Knysna: After breakfast, you will depart on a full day tour exploring the surrounding areas of Plettenberg Bay, known for its sandy beaches, vineyards and outdoor activity options. Visit the lush forests of the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve, where you can walk over the suspension bridges that cross the river mouth, an awesome photo opportunity. Today you will end your Garden Route experience with a visit the popular Knysna Waterfront, which boasts some boutique shops, a range of restaurants and a superior marina. You will depart on a John Benn Sunset cruise on the lagoon, the perfect ending to this day. Overnight in Knysna. (B)
Day 7: Knysna – Marloth Park: This morning you will be departing the Garden Route via George Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Arrival at OR Tambo International Airport. After passing through the arrivals terminal driver will meet them with a signage board depicting clients’ name. The driver will assist with their luggage and disinfect all bags before loading. Thereafter temperature checks will be done and hands sanitized before you are able to enter the vehicle for their road transfer to Marloth Park. Grand Kruger Lodge is nestled in a Wildlife Sanctuary sharing a common border with the Kruger National Park, known as the Crocodile river. They provide an ideal setting for relaxation, in the African bush veld. Grand Kruger Lodge and Spa is a unique holiday destination, as giraffes, wildebeest, kudu, zebra, impala, bushbuck, warthog, baboon, vervet monkeys and other small game roams freely through property and the whole of Marloth Park. This gives you an opportunity to see the game up close and personal while relaxing on the deck, boma or pool. Overnight in Grand Kruger Lodge. (B, D)
Day 8: Marloth Park: Your safari begins at sunrise and will be the start of your game spotting adventure. Upon arriving at the entry gate your friendly guide will begin each safari with an all-inclusive briefing on how to behave when entering the Kruger National Park. Together, with your guide, you will set out into the wild to spot the abundance of fauna and flora that the African Bush has to offer. Don’t be shy to ask questions as your qualified guide will do their best to give you the ideal game spotting experience and information. The excitement of spending your morning searching to find predators and the big five could leave one a bit empty in the stomach making it a good time to stop for you to enjoy breakfast at lower Sabie. After a filling breakfast, you continue with the safari and search for the “Big 5”. Filled with the chirps of over 500 bird species, alongside some of the 150 species of mammals including the masses of Impala, Kudu, Gnu, Elephant, Vervet monkey, Wild dog, Prides of lion, herds of buffalo, to name but a few. You will be guided back to the lodge, just in time for lunch to replenish the energy spent on the day’s excitement. This afternoon you are able to relax at the pool or at the spa and end the day with a delicious dinner at the Lodge restaurant. Overnight in Grand Kruger Lodge. (B, D)
Day 9: Marloth Park: This morning clients will say a farewell to Marloth Park with breakfast before checking out and transferring to OR Tambo International Airport for their departure flight. (B)
