Itinerary :

Day 1: Christchurch: On arrival in Christchurch, collect your rental vehicle and self drive to hotel & check-in. Today, you can visit International Antarctic Centre & enjoy an icy insight into this astounding continent. Overnight in Christchurch.

Day 2: Christchurch – Tekapo/Mt Cook Region: Today depart from Christchurch to a scenic wonderland with golden tussocks, snow-capped mountains and turquoise lakes. At Lake Tekapo lap up the fresh air and sparling skies in this International Dark Sky Reserve. Enjoy Dark Sky Experience (Thu-Mon only) which will forever change the way you see the night sky. Overnight in Tekapo or Mt Cook Region.

Day 3: Tekapo/Mt Cook Region – Queenstown: Enjoy the breathtakingly expansive scenery of ice and rock that features numerous enormous peaks, including New Zealand’s highest mountain. After that, follow the stunning Lake Pukaki shoreline as you make your way to Queenstown via the historic Central Otago region. Overnight in Queenstown.

Day 4: Queenstown: A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Overnight in Queenstown.

Day 5: Queenstown – Milford – Queenstown: Today’s breathtaking drive passes mirror lakes, magnificent waterfalls, and water-sculpted rocks. Explore Milford Sound, a New Zealand treasure carved by ice age glaciers and is famously described as the eighth wonder of the world. On arrival, board your vessel for a cruise of the fiord surrounded by towering mountains and cliffs that plunge into the sea. Lunch is included. Return to downtown Queenstown. Overnight stay in Queenstown.

Day 6: Queenstown: Your tour concludes today with the return of your rental car to Queenstown Airport.
